You will be forgiven if you can’t quite figure out what to make of the Nebraska Cornhuskers going into Week 3 of the college football season. A week after opening the year with a demoralizing loss at Illinois, Nebraska returned home to roast an overpowered Fordham program last Saturday. This week, Nebraska hosts a Buffalo program that could be one of the best teams in the MAC despite some notable losses on both the field and sideline.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers have their eye on handing the Buffalo Bulls their first loss of the season in Saturday’s clash at Memorial Stadium. After falling in a disappointing opener against Illinois, the Huskers got right back on the bike and pedaled to a lopsided 52-7 victory over Fordham last week. They face another test against a visiting Bulls team that just handed Wagner a 69-7 loss in their opener.
