However the Missouri defense gave up 519 yards of total offense to the Wildcats.
Southeast Missouri State couldn’t figure out Southern Illinois in their opener game, ultimately taking a 47-21 loss. The Redhawks were down 28-7 at the break and were outscored in every quarter. Geno Hess led the rushing attack for the Redhawks on 18 carries for 104 yards.
