Ceferin to stand for fourth term as Uefa president

Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin will stand for a fourth term, reversing an earlier decision to step down, according to BBC Sport.

The move keeps Ceferin in the race for the top job in European football, with his candidacy carrying clear significance for the governance of Uefa and its competitions.

Ceferin had previously indicated that he would not continue, but his decision has now changed. The development means he is set to seek another term at the head of European football’s governing body.
