Toone added to England squad after Bronze withdrawal

Manchester United midfielder Ella Toone has been added to the England squad for this month’s World Cup play-off games against Greece after Lucy Bronze withdrew.

The late change was reported by the BBC and means Toone steps into the group for the crucial selection period. The squad adjustment comes as England prepare for their play-off fixtures later this month.

No further details were given on Bronze’s withdrawal or on whether any additional changes to the squad are expected.
