PSG beat Man City 4-2 to continue perfect start
Paris Saint-Germain continued their defence of the Champions League with a 4-2 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, making it two wins from two in this season’s competition. The result leaves the holders in strong early form after a sharp attacking display against Pep Guardiola’s side.
Manchester City showed fight in response and tried to force their way back into the contest, but PSG remained slick enough to hold on and finish with the points. The match swung in the visitors’ favour as they stayed composed while City looked to build momentum for a comeback.
According to the BBC, the outcome is a significant one in the group stage and underlines PSG’s early control in the competition. For City, it is a reminder of the work still needed against one of Europe’s in-form sides.
