Yoro sent off as Man Utd lose to Atletico Madrid

Manchester United’s winless run stretched to five matches as they were beaten 2-0 by Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. The defeat also ended with United down to ten men after Leny Yoro was sent off.

Atletico took the lead in the opening minute, leaving United with an early setback they were unable to recover from. The red card for Yoro added to a difficult evening for United and left them with a further challenge before the final whistle.

The result extends a poor spell for United and raises further questions around their selection and approach after another disappointing night. According to the BBC, the defensive issues were again central to the outcome.
