Liberty got 26 points from Darius McGhee en route to a 52-47 victory over Lipscomb on Thursday at Liberty Arena.
Liberty got 10 points from Keegan McDowell and another 6 points from Shiloh Robinson. Kyle Rode contributed 6 assists, while Blake Preston cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Lipscomb got 21 points from Trae Benham in a losing cause and another 10 points from Ahsan Asadullah. Will Pruitt contributed 1 assists for them, while Ahsan Asadullah had 8 rebounds.
The rebound battle favored Liberty as they grabbed 41 boards, while Lipscomb only had 35
