Isaiah Burke scored 14 points leading Morgan State to a 63-59 victory over Coppin State at Physical Education Complex on Thursday.
Morgan State got 10 points from Sherwyn Devonish and another 8 points from Malik Miller. Sherwyn Devonish contributed 3 assists, while Malik Miller cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
Coppin State got 18 points from Nendah Tarke in a losing cause and another 15 points from Justin Steers. Nendah Tarke contributed 5 assists for them, while Nendah Tarke had 11 rebounds.
Morgan State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Morgan State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-36.
