Niagara cruised to victory on Thursday, running Siena out of the gym and running up a 74-52 score at Gallagher Center.
Niagara won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -3.0-point spread as favorites.
Niagara got 28 points from Marcus Hammond and another 13 points from Sam Iorio. Jordan Cintron contributed 3 assists, while Greg Kuakumensah cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Siena got a 13-point performance from Javian McCollum, who was supported by 10 points from Anthony Gaines. Jared Billups had 2 assists in a losing cause for Siena, while Anthony Gaines grabbed 8 rebounds.
Niagara was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Niagara had a 36-22 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Niagara looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Marist. Siena will aim to get back on the winning track at Canisius.
